This week, we celebrated a special birthday of one of our members. Congratulations, Rudy!
You are never too old to make music! If you play an instrument, you should consider coming out to our practices on Tuesday nights.

The Dundas Concert Band has begun their weekly practices on Tuesday nights at the Town Hall. If you are interested in joining our band, please contact us at info@dundasconcertband.com and let us know you’d like to come out. We practice on Tuesday nights from 7:30 – 9:30pm on the second floor. Use either the stairs or the elevator. See you soon!
The Dundas Concert Band will once again be performing at the Cactus Parade on Thursday, August 15th. We will be at Eccles Auto Service, and will perform starting at 6:30 pm. We will then continue to play during the parade when there are no music bands, and then again once the parade is over.
Although the Dundas Concert Band Summer Series in the Park is finished, there is still another great band to listen to. On Tuesday, August 13, the Silver Swing Big Band will be performing at the Dundas Driving Park. They will start at 7:00pm. Several members from the DCB play with the Silver Swing Band. So bring your chair, and maybe a blanket, and listen to some Big Band music. It’s an earlier start time!
We are now finished our Concerts in the Park series. Thank you very much for coming to the park to listen and for your generous financial donations. Look for us at the Dundas Cactus Parade. We will be set up at Eccles Auto Service, and will play before, during and after the parade.
Tonight will be our last Concert in the Park Series. We hope the weather holds out for us. It is supposed to stop raining by 4pm. If it is cancelled due to the weather, we will post here. Otherwise, bring out a chair and we will see you at 7:30pm!
Thanks to our Sponsor, the Greensville Optimists, we were able to provide the children with shaker bottles with music and space stickers, as well as their own Star Finder. Also, the children had fun playing the bucket drums with our drummer, Chris. One more concert to go! See you August 6th for our Finale Concert!
We are hopeful to have our concert tonight, Tuesday, July 30th. A decision will be made by 4pm. Check here and on Facebook for cancellations.
This is a family friendly concert, with activities for the children. Activities begin around 6:45pm. The actual concert starts at 7:30, with opportunities for the children to accompany the band.
